In 2025, the keys of Haus Sonnblick changed hands. The Aufegger family ran the hotel with heart for many years; now Jakob Aufegger is enjoying a well-deserved retirement.
Brigitte Gell has taken over the lease of the house. A trained hotel specialist, she continues to run it with great dedication and, together with Dörte Hesse, who looks after reception and guests, is adding fresh touches: newly designed rooms and an open ear for every guest.
What remains is what regular guests have been coming back for over the years – the quiet location, the view over the village and the feeling of staying with friends.
