Brigitte Gell has been running Haus Sonnblick since 2025. The trained hotel specialist took over the keys from the Aufegger family, who ran the house with great care for many years. Together with Dörte Hesse she brings new ideas – while preserving what regular guests love about the Sonnblick: personal service, peace and quiet and the view over Bad Kleinkirchheim.
The house enjoys a sunny, central location on the southern slope, close to the Kaiserburg gondola and the Thermal-Römerbad. In summer you set off from here on hikes in the Nock Mountains Biosphere Park, in winter into the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area.

The Nock Mountains Biosphere Park starts practically on the doorstep. In summer, the Kärnten Card is included from the day of arrival – and house guests play at Bad Kleinkirchheim golf course without green fees.
From the conservatory you can see Kaiserburg, Strohsack and the Franz Klammer downhill run. The free ski shuttle stops right below the house and takes you to the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area.
